Exercises for Sports Injury Recovery

Mild  (Hamstring stretch)

Mild pain, slight swelling, and possibly some stiffness. The athlete may experience discomfort but can usually continue with activities, though at a reduced intensity.

Moderate (Isometric knee flex./ext. 45°)

Moderate pain, noticeable swelling, bruising, and limited range of motion. The athlete may have difficulty performing usual activities.

Severe (Partial squat)

Severe pain, significant swelling, instability in the affected area, inability to move the injured part, and possibly visible deformity.
